These mobiles are perfectly balanced for the most graceful movement. Just pull and release the bottom string and watch them fly. Each is constructed of medium-density fiberboard, hand-painted, and decorated with dyed tagua nuts. These whimsical flyers are handcrafted by a woman-owned business that employs single moms and internally displaced Afro-Colombians.

Several years ago, a friend brought a lovely white dragon mobile back from Columbia for my grandson. I have been seeking a black one since then, and found it here. I'm guessing it was crafted meticulously by the same person. The details are perfect, the dragon’s wings flap when you gently pull the string, and it is absolutely beautiful. I am so happy that I found it, and I thank you for making my grandson’s day, as he wanted the black one for a companion to the white one.
My daughter was very pleased with the durability of this product.
I gave the black dragon mobile as a gift to my in-laws shortly after our nephew was born. They loved it and hung it high above his crib as a mobile - it was a very unique part of the nursery and complimented by many!
