Warehouse Associate – Part Time
Tulia’s Artisan Gallery is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to pack and ship orders in our Lincolnwood warehouse near West Rogers Park, Chicago. 20 hrs per wk. $18 per hr. Start Date Sept 16, 2024
Duties include the following:
- Receiving: Receiving & unpacking incoming inventory
- Inspecting: Inspecting products for damage or defects
- Packing: Repacking product into final packaging
- Stocking: Restocking shelves and organizing inventory
- Picking: Picking orders from stock and filling them
- Packing and shipping: Packing and shipping orders accurately
- Maintaining: Keeping the warehouse clean and organized
- Following regulations: Following company safety and hygiene regulations
- Contributing ideas: Offering ideas for improving warehousing procedures
Qualifications:
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Commitment to Fair Trade and sustainable practices
- Familiar with iMac Apple computers
- Knowledge of Shopify, and Faire a plus.
- Spanish or English speakers but must be able to read English.
- Able to lift 25lbs.
